I worked with Ilona at St. Francis for a number of years.  She was a deeply compassionate nurse.  My deepest sympathy to her family and friends.  May she Rest in Eternal Peace.

Please allow me to offer my condolences to the family with these comforting words based on Revelation 21:3-5:" Look! The tent of God is with mankind... and God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." I am deeply sorry for your loss. May God's Word the Bible comfort all of you during this painful time.

Sincerely,

Ellie

I worked with Ilona for many years.  In all that time I never heard her utter a mean or harsh word.  She was just so kind.  And a very good nurse.  I am sorry for your loss as a family and our loss to the community.  I am sure she was greeted with "Well done thou good and faithful servant" on Heaven's shore.

Ilona and I went to school together at Highland Park.   She was quiet,  sweet and just a lovely person.  The last time I had a visit with her was at our High School's 70th birthday party.  Her husband was so attentive to her,  you could just see the love between them.  I was blessed to have known Ilona,  she was always a kind person and will be missed.

You are in our thoughts and prayers,

Our deepest sympathy,

To the Family of Ilona Smith:

I was sadden to learn about the passing of Sister Ilona Smith. I always admired Sis. Smith's calm demeanor and her personal witness in the midst of her season. Please find comfort in knowing that to live for Christ is a wonderful testimony but to die in Christ is our inheritance to his eternal kingdom. My thoughts, hearts and prayers are with the Smith Family.

Rest in peace.
